Horsehoe Bay is just over an hour's drive from Stanley. It is situated on the banks of Port Slavador Sound in the north of East Falkland. The drive is interesting when wet (as it was when we went!) since it incorprates track driving as well as roads. The scenery (particularly around Dan's Shanty Creek and Cane Ja Creek) is spectacular. We saw our first seal in the bay at Dan's Shanty Creek!
